Calm down, Mummymon. I like how they introduce a couple of endgame power level villains with the attitude of Team Rocket.

What are Man-Spider's powers? The proportionate intelligence and endurance of a bipedal hominid? The ability to make mechanical pellet-shooters? Gaydar?

After hearing about children of time I feel bad making space spiders an massive galactic threat in what I'm writing. Just cruel hunters who grow to be as big as a 2 story house if they have access to enought food. They are fiendishly intelligent and can either build ships by webbing parts together from ships that crash on their homeworld or stowing away on ships that foolishly try to scavenge the wrecks for tech. Their homeworld lays in a system that due to a quirk of the galaxy, lost ships will eventually end up there. So ships from the millions of years of space travel can be found there. A single spider can asexually reproduce so they can fill the ship with spiderlings and they can spread quickly through a trade hub. The first Aldric Dr Who episode had spiders that hatched out of melons and turned people into zombies when they were bitten.

We'll they're literally called arachnids in the movie, what do you want from me?! They should be allowed in at least on a technicality. Like the thing from Gremlins 2.

"Is This A Space Spider" - the greatest thread in the history of forums, locked by a moderator after 12239 pages of heated debate, I think Spider Gremlin skates in on a technicality because it's a Spider Centaur, it was made using spider DNA, and its lower body plan is recognisably arachnid even if it has ten limbs. the bugs from Starship Troopers have either four legs + manibles, or six legs, and they have a single central body/head rather than an abodmen + thorax. plux the only people that call them Arachnids are fascists Gravitas Shortfall fucked around with this message at 10:57 on Dec 18, 2023 |

Peter Parker, as nerdy teen in the 21st century, would absolutely be on tiktok or tumblr ranting about how he's the only true spiderkin and everyone else is just faking for clout.

The toy you posted there doesn't have them because it's based off the CGI films, but the original design in the film does in fact have a set of small limbs in front of it's mouth that brings the total count up to 8.
