It’s all the stuff he wishes the Oculus Quest was, but also when you’re largely bedridden it’s hard to make the money necessary to afford $3500 electronic gadgets. Yeah this would be perfect for my dad who is disabled and stays at home. He loves tech, and consumes a ton of media. We'll wait for the non-Pro version in a year or two and probably get one for him for Christmas.
