I have been promised better autocorrect way too often.

Sentence level might help since I feel like a lot of the mistakes are due to accidental space bar presses causing it to guess completely wrong words.

In theory, these new apps are a chance for Apple to eat their own dog food and find gaps in the public APIs but not sure they always follow the rules.
