I actually think that being a "superfan" of anything can be a slippery-slope, but I've noticed certain media or celebrities have fanbases that are particularly toxic. Stephen Universe: While I enjoy the show in moderation, unfortunately fans seem to defend the show like it's their God and wage war against the most minor criticisms Andrew Tate: If you're familiar with this piece of work you probably don't need any further explanation... his fanbase are all insecure incels with major issues with women Star Wars: Whilst I've enjoyed the original trilogy, the way the fandom has acted after the sequels were released has really put me off - including doxxing and threatening cast members. What are some fanbases that you would consider toxic?
