Fuckin finally got the nest egg achievement, what a run. Just barely beat that last hand too. At one point I thought I'd hit another wall where the game would simply not offer me a money tag, but I saw a $5 for each blind skipped and said gently caress it - that netted me over $200 I used to fund the deck until I was left with 60. Thought I might use that to get the voucher achievement but lol:   I also did 25 re-rolls after that and no negative jokers

Perkeo, if you have the upgrade that gives 1.5x mult to the planet card held in hand, it can get bonkers. So for example, if you have Pluto in hand, it will create more Pluto cards which will give you that 1.5x bonus for making high card hands. Now duplicate it with blueprint, etc etc.

Give it a secondary effect where each one owned increases the chance of more blanks showing up and it might have a niche in "number of jokers matter" setups. Shoot Abstract Joker's bonus into the stratosphere, add more sell value for Swashbuckler, etc. Edit: I wonder if making each one count as a blank spot for Stencil would be too much...

Conversely, if it's blueprintable you could have a sort of anti-Dusk thing going if overlimit jokers get cleaned up in the cash out phase--swap Blueprint to one for final hand, off for play.

 this is my worst hand of all time i had the joker that adds a mult if you have 0 discards which was encouraging me to play a little riskier than usual already. the big blind had 1 in 7 cards are face down, and i had 3 7s and a face down card to the right of it for my last hand. after sorting by rank and suit, i had a feeling the 4th 7 was the one that was turned down so i went for it. it turned out to be a steel 3, and instead of getting the multiplier i ended up 1 point short lmao

I haven't had any Legendaries I think! Highest is Rare so far. My synergy came from like 6 or 7 cards with Purple Chips and a high amount of Discards, so once I got Campfire I just didn't skip any blinds, and discarded liberally to get 3-10 Planet cards for free that I sold. Followed by shops where I bought more Planets and Tarots to sell. It helped that I had a few economy cards that I could just hang onto because Campfire was so strong every round so I was making lik 20 bucks per round, which I used to find more cards to sell etc...

It's hard for me to tell since I get it so rarely, but does Blueprint copy any Polychrome, Holographic, Foil, or Negative effects on the card to the right? Or just the text? I forgot to test it the last time I got it and haven't seen it since.

Also random interesting thing (that anyone with a lot of time in the game knows) is that "negative a random joker" becomes mpre expensive the more times you pick it, the first one removes 1 hand size the second one removes two more hand size etc. Four of them should end most runs I just havent been lucky enough to be offered it more than 3 times.

FYI: If you're really stuck on Boss Blinds where you're given cards face down, you can use Tarot cards like the mult one to temporarily flip them over to see what they are. E: also God gently caress Orange Stake. Even on 4x speed it's tedious holding R and playing a blind or two with ideal skips on Ante 1 only to find garbage Jokers or non-applicable cards or booster packs. You really need to find a +mult Joker ASAP or you can't keep up with the jump in blinds. E2: If you're playing the checkered deck or any set where you've got a firm grasp on suits available, just discard a few and sort by suit and rank to figure out which is which. If there's an Ace/King/Queen heart in the middle, chances are the face-down cards to the left are spades and those to the right are hearts. It would mean less guesswork when buying a Blueprint whether or not it's worthwhile. Well, it's almost always worth it, but might not be as worth it as you think.

And that's black deck cleared on gold stake. That was harder than any of the challenges. I'm finding on high stakes that rerolling for tags in ante 1 is a waste of time and also boring. Every skip is a missed chance at the shop and finding a decent joker to start a build. It's worse on black deck because you've got to get a decent base early, and even clearing ante 1 big blind can be tough without a joker.

I am working my way through the decks slowly and it will probably be a long time before I get there on black. I have been thinking on similar lines re:skips, glad to hear that it's not just me. Sometimes I will fish for a fun one just for the sake of variety though.

I've been playing for 80 hours and just cleared my last deck on green stake (painted deck, that lack of a joker slot is tough if you don't roll good jokers). Very close to completing the collection too but some jokers that I know I've unlocked refuse to ever show up, as well as the upgraded vouchers. I'm sure it'll happen eventually though. It is funny reading the thread about the difficulty in getting the $400 achievement, when that was the first one I got after winning the game for the first time. I had the rocket since near the beginning and the To the Moon joker, on top of the boot that gives mult for money so that comfortably got me into endless. Still took me until yesterday to finally get a 100M hand/reach ante 12 though....
