I mean, isn't the point of being further back in time, that you get fancy tech, but you get outdated designs? Otherwise playing in the more standard timelines would be an exercise in frustration.

Maybe they already deployed because it stayed put? How long does it usually take to move infantry out of the transport? And how far can they move away from it in the same turn? Also, would they be eligible for catching stray fire that hits the same tile if they are still on the same tile as the transport?

How does SLDF command usually feel about integrating battlefield salvage? Because you could (in theory) argue (with enough distance to central command) that the thunderbolt came with it's own salvage(d) crew.
