Did you guys hear about this? Apparently The Supreme Court found it unconstitutional to consider race in university admissions, which will eliminate the principal tool the nation’s most selective schools have used to diversify their campuses. It’ll be interesting to see the long-term ramifications of this. Whilst the correlation between inter generational poverty and ethnicity is well-established, it’s difficult to argue that discrimination based on one’s skin colour is also unconstitutional (discrimination with good intentions is still discrimination). What are your guys thoughts?
