Diabetic posted:MK9 I probably enjoyed the most personally, I literally cannot do MKX's Krypt because of the Spider Cave, it's loving infuriating to be scared every single rear end time with Arachnophobia. 11's Krypt felt like a loving joke, the amount of time you have to spend to unlock everything, and even if you get everything, you have to reset it to get the full amount of stuff, not to mention the currency being loving impossible to obtain or you buy it is a giant rear end joke. Yeah, like I think about what Maximilian Dood had to do just so he could grind out enough currency to unlock everything in the Krypt, and that's just ridiculous for the average person. Could you even buy currency if you didn't want to deal with that poo poo?

Raiden knew or at least got flashes of how bad he hosed up, the previous timeline. MKX and 11 were honestly not bad beyond Liu thinking he's right and Raiden was wrong. I know Liu is gonna gently caress this up so much worse than Raiden ever could and I can't wait. The best part is that it's literally eons in the making. Liu Kang just spending all that time waiting for Raiden to be reborn to rub it in his face how much better he's been at the job than Raiden ever was, only for it to all come crashing down

Leave D'Vorah/Collector/Kotal behind, bring Skarlet back MK11 Jade was extremely my jam as far as what I look for in a kharacter, but I had a lot of fun with Skarlet too. Would love for both those versions to come back at some point. Shame it's very unlikely

MK/NRS's default inputs are the simplified directional inputs like D, F, 2, and the alternative inputs are SF-style QCF/rolling inputs, but you're usually better off using MK inputs, especially on pad. Like, a B,F input usually translates into a HCF input in the alternative scheme. Injustice was my gateway back into MK, so for a while I was using alternative inputs as a long-time SF player, but eventually I realized how much faster it was to use the NRS-style inputs

Doomslayer would be wild if only because there was that rumor that supposedly Mick Gordon wanted to do the MK11 soundtrack, but somebody at NRS hates his music and refused his offer. The current music direction at NRS is so goddamn bland and boring that I can believe it

I remember reading a rumor about there possibly being a single player mode that is similar to World Tour mode in Street Fighter 6, did this rumor ever pan out? Honestly they could just flesh out the MK11 Krypt, add some characters to interact with, drop some of the stupid unlocks, and be fine. But I imagine that MK1 was too far along in development to really be influenced by SF6 much. Tekken 8 will probably be the first true post-SF6 FG. Besides, NRS's strength in single player is story mode

I am interested to see what they do with Sindel, since the trailer makes her seem like she's mostly good now in story, but in game she seems mostly the same as usual. Then again, a character behaving one way during a fight and another in story isn't unusual for NRS. MK11 Cassie was a prime example of that
