Ok, so here is what we are going to do. We all know general managers are all terrible and really only succeed by random luck. So let’s put this to the test. Every pick I will randomly generate a number 1-32. That is the team I pick from in alphabetical order (as teams are taken I re roll if it comes up with a prior team). I will then also flip a coin. Heads: I take the BEST player I feel is on the team Tails: I take the WORST player I feel is on the team It is only through random chance that most NHL teams succeed, and therefore this should be the best way to determine a team. Alright, let’s see what random chance gets the Blues !   Team 12 is the Edmonton Oilers! Tails is their WORST player This was way more difficult to choose than I thought. I didn’t really think through is worst player by relative to contract, is it just simply whomever sucks the most, etc? We’re gonna keep it vague and go in between Jack Campbell was very very tempting, but we are going to go with Codi Ceci as worst player with a bad contract for the Oilers. Alright, I am back from traveling , so now I can do what is important , and post.   25 = Seattle Heads = good ! We’re gonna go with a prospect since I haven’t picked on yet, plus Seattle has one of the best potential ones in Shane Wright. I thought prospects were players who were not going to be lineup regulars, and we had to specify whether or not they were prospects or not by that metric. I drafted Cooley as a regular, not as a prospect, because I think he's ready to play a regular top 9 role in the lineup next year. Gotta give a disclaimer and give it that I def did not read the rules beyond “one pick from each team.”
