Honestly I think my favorite part of the whole folgore fight, despite everything amazing about it, is when the regular citizens dove in to help, tackling the mustache dude and ramming them with a car to help their hero folgore. So many times things like this suddenly enter an entire alternate universe even in the middle of a city where suddenly no civilians are around. At least dandadan explicitly explains it away, most series don't. If I had to raise one thing I have a problem with with the series, it's when they get the opportunity to grab all the power crystal jar things and just...don't. Or like, folgore grabbed tio's and then just...left the rest on the ground, rather than taking the entire suitcase. It's really obviously their power source, why leave it on the ground for them to recover!!!!

One of the many things I like about Zatch Bell is the way adults participate in its story. They somehow feel more like adults than the adults in other shounen stories, despite how silly they sometimes act. Folgore and Kafka in particular are both great. It also does "people from non-Japan countries" well. The characters are often silly, but in a way that doesn't feel mean and is very good-natured in general. I think that "good-natured" is a good way to describe these comics. Just fully infused and permeated with good vibes. Makoto Raiku being a bad person would probably shock me more than hearing the same thing about almost any other public/media figure.

Folgore did just tackle a cat-bear out of a hospital widow while defending a child. he deserves a little help

I'm on mobile but the best pages in the manga are Kanchome about to die doing the song and saying he wants see Folgore again and you turn the page and the hero himself is there.

Zatch Bell just does a great job at swapping between being extremely goofy and menacing on the drop of the hat, sometimes doing both at the time time even and it's prob one of the best parts of it.

I assume we'll get Brago and Sherry back as well as the Prof. and Kido and probably Sunbeam and Umagon. I want to see Apollo and Ropes come back, they were cool and it'd be nice to see them go the distance. As far as fun little one shot guys I'd like to see return to be heavy hitters, Gimme Danny and that old man busting heads. Gimme Jem and Yopopo reunion. Oh and of course I need to see Kolulu and Lori back together. They deserve it.
