April 2020 was the first time the sentiments on r/collapse didn't feel like doomer hyperbole to me anymore. The covid threat was so blunt and the measures needed pretty clear-cut compared to most crises, and still businesses and their talking heads were squawking about how they are the special boy who shouldn't have to follow the rules. All of them. And a voice popped in my head: We are so hosed regarding climate change.
