Ladies and Germs, please gird your loins for our latest side tournament distraction, KING OF TRIOS! This will differ from the G21 and the 10x10 in that there's only 5 teams per block with 5 blocks, for a total of 25 trios. That's all I could find, no more. Needless to say, this opens up the door for a multi-way tie at the top, which I have a plan for, soon as I come up with it. I'm looking for trios who were commonly associated with each other and not just thrown together on a whim. Holding a belt helps, though six-man titles aren't the most numerous out there. Basically, if a common wrestling fan understand them as a trio, I'll count it. Trios will need to consist of three active wrestlers, not two and a manager, i.e. Midnight Express and Jim Cornette, no matter how much you bloodthirsty mongrels want to see the ol' Corncob get taken to the woodshed here. Stables aren't necessarily trios, but a stable can have a trio within it, if that makes sense. Also, Space/Time Continuum rules are in effect, a wrestler may only be featured once. You can have either SHIELD or Bloodline, but not both. I'm also going to leave all of the settings the same as the G21 and the 10x10, particuarly the 30 minute time limit. The trios matches we've had as part of the Tournament finals, all two of them, have wrapped up within that time frame. If we start getting a number of draws, I'd say more than two per block, I'll reserve the right to up the time limit. No one from Chikara is here because gently caress Quack. They will not be missed. Now, let us find out, which team will reign supreme!

As is now tradition, a look at scenarios now that we are 2/3rds of the way through the block. A Block, Sheamus and TAKA are in the lead as we all predicted, with Jack Brisco and Toru Yano close behind with 8. Gargano and Ventura are also alive with 6, while Jerry Lynn and his 4 points are still holding on via his win over TAKA and a H2H vs. Sheamus incoming. Only Jannetty/Hernandez/Kevin Nash are eliminated. Since Kawada's undeafeated streak came to an end in.....well that fashion, we'll once more finish up Block B before wrapping up Block A, which still has everything to play for.
