Don't you mean "Pockets"? As an AEW fan and an even bigger Orange Cassidy fan I love the recurring bit where Chris shits on AEW by repeating Jim Cornette's talking points.

I didn't realize Kevin Smith had like 15 different premium tiers for smodcast. That's hosed up, I always thought it was lame he charged for that to begin with since he's already really successful.

He also released one of his movies as an NFT.

Hearing Bita, the guest on the Productivity Guys episode, say, "Oh, Bryan..." when she learns that he wakes up, slams a Rockstar, then goes back to sleep, is really the thing we're all listening to Guys for.

I think they’ve mentioned it already thanks to the hosed up episode release schedule but the constant callbacks to being a sex guy and a Canadian/LA guy while the guest has no idea what they’re talking about is wearing a little thin.

I’m still going to listen every week plus all the patreon stuff though

Going by Bryan's twitter the Rockabilly episode is going to be wild. I dipped my toe in Rockabilly in that I went to an Unknown Hinson concert, before he was kicked off Squidbillies for being a piece of poo poo, and quickly realized the scene was not for me.

The general vibe of it weirds me out. Like "ah the good old days, when women stayed at home and the schools were still segregated!"

My regular fridge is about two steps away. My boyfriend and I use the living room in our apartment as a bedroom and the bedrooms as a dining room and office/art space.

I love that in each episode we get another weird peek into Bryan's life and personality. The confusion at his wife not wanting him to be sweaty with his shoes on in the bed really killed me.

Thank god Bryan has Christ to force him to do Shocktober. Shocktober was the biggest Patreon bump on Street Fight every year, it's crazy that Bryan would consider not doing it during Guys.

Thanks Dom Monaghan
something I realize I like about Chris is that his anger actually seems real and adds to the shows. so many lovely podcasters and streamers etc. fake it in place of being funny/interesting i.e. the guy that makes Knowledge Fight unlistenable or Andrew on We Hate Movies but when Chris loses his mind it's funny, understandable, or both

e: Shocktober ep just dropped, waddle doodle greasebuddies

Chris doing comedy is another bit like Bryan being a sex guy, right?
The amount of riffing he kills with :actually: is really grating. He's trying to force bits way too hard and running them into the ground really quickly. I know there's already been feedback about speeding up guests on bits and teasing Bryan so much, but that doesn't address that he interrupts clips constantly and is just a joke killer. He's like an anti-co-host.

The flow of Guys, and especially Guys+, seems like a downgrade compared to the Street Fight Patreon episodes with Bryan and rotating guests. I don't know if it's because Chris' background as a streamer, but it feels like he's trying to be the focus of the show.

This sucks since I thought they worked really well together on Reacher Roundtable.

Chris is very overbearing. He wants to get his bits in and will talk over the guests and clips to do it. Just calm down man, you are the co-host of the show, let Bryan play the Opie clip, or let the guest actually talk about the Guy on Guys.

I think he's just playing this up sometimes, the new Shocktober is night and day from how Chris usually is on Shocktober, and more enjoyable because he wants to hear the clips and and have fun making fun of the Greaseman instead of just complaining how bad it is. He was even willing to listen to Opie.

Chris and Mike staging a mini intervention to stop Bryan eating 6 caramelos at night is classic content.

Also, Bryan killed it on the Chapo Patreon ep this week, hope we get more Guys heads from that appearance.

Bryan's relationship with food is some of the strangest poo poo I have ever seen. The carmelo's, the suitcase full of hot pockets, the jello shots, just absolute bizarre behavior.
