Casino Royale is my favorite, I’m mad about Mads Also have a soft spot for Tomorrow Never Dies, Jonathan Pryce is very funny as the Steve Jobs-style villain

Slyfall has a lot of good in it but it ultimately disappointed me because it throws away so much that I liked about casino royale. CR was like let’s give bond a little emotional depth, pare back the stakes, keep things low tech and it fuckin owns, and then skyfall brings back all the gadgets and everyone in mi6 acts like an idiot all the time and oh now we even have a male M and a moneypenny again. just felt like a blatant nostalgia play right after things got more interesting

I still like the movie but anytime i rewatch it i do find it annoying, especially the "everyone in mi6 acts like an idiot all the time" part
