God I absolutely love when poo poo like this happens. Never would have guessed Giroud is the guy they taught some goalkeeping to. (This is a thing right? Every team basically picks 1-2 outfield players to just know the basics of goalkeeping just in case of this ish?)

Genoa did have a sub and got Leali in. I don’t think “give the biggest lad the gloves” is the best way to handle that but giroud definitely seemed to have the bravery and disregard for his own safety that a keeper must have.

Their defense is probably what's keeping them in it against most opponents (and even then they got clobbered by Inter), but scoring also feels kind of low across the board this season. 6th might be an exaggeration but it's pretty tight at the top right now so a bad run could easily see them drop a bit. This is looking like a possible draw right now and lol at Juve if they can't manage to pull out a win with 50+ minutes of being a man up
