Just got first prescription a couple of months ago and I can agree with the "Holy poo poo!" sentiment. The world snapped back into focus more than I expected.

The optometrist gave me a little cleaning kit with some solution and cloth. I use whatever t-shirt I'm wearing most of the time, but the solution is good for a thorough cleaning every week or two.

I'm 51 years old and still get carded. It's the stupid policy of "Card anyone that looks younger than 40" combined with clerks that are barely old enough to sell alcohol.
