You gotta do the little circular motion with your thumb and forefinger at the same time, front and back of lens simultaneously. It's sort of like, well uh rolling a, or a uh, finger bangi... uh well you just kinda gotta get the hang of it to not smudge them. Like just use an old cotton t-shirt until there's no more clean spots.
