Many years ago, during the darkest days of the COVID-19 pandemic, someone at Impact Wrestling had an idea: why don't we work with other promotions to benefit each other? Yes, we all know when Kenny Omega showed up on AXS TV with his newly-minted AEW World Championship, but around the same time David Finlay and Juice Robinson came over to challenge for the Impact World Tag Team titles, which they won! Since then, NJPW and Impact have been good partners, with talent appearing on each others' shows occasionally. Now, for the first time not during WrestleMania weekend, we have a Multiverse show featuring wrestlers from not only both promotions, but from World Wonder Ring Stardom!
