I'm scared too, but today I:

Watched a cockpit familiarization video on the Mig-29

Did the startup, taxi, and takeoff tutorial. Twice, because I screwed up the engine start/stop thing. And I wasn't very seriously on fire after I landed!

That also let me get head tracking working, but not tweaked yet.

I watched the Springfield stream on Twitch, that was fun. Some minor SAM-related issues, but no losses and one very blown up bridge.
