Oof I've looked at a startup for the F16 and it bothers me that you have to line up your HUD. Like, that plane seems to be a lot of work. I think I'm gonna go with the SU25 on this campaign. Just watched a clip and the absolute bear essentials seem to fit on two pages, just need to figure out a smart way to put it on my HOTAS.
I have to ask what clip did you watch, because the F-16 is one of the easiest modern jets to learn in DCS, even more so than the Hornet.

Edit:
having talked about it on the Discord, it's a case of a bad quick impression, in practice it's nowhere as complicated as it might seem from a clip.
But also the SU-25 has simplified avionics so it's really easy to quickly pick up and put warheads on foreheads

I have no idea - I am making an assumption. If they can't fit them we shall find an alternative.
They can drop JDAMs without a targeting pod, but the pilots will either have to get close to use Visual mode to generate coordinates for the bombs to drop onto or struggle with a low resolution radar map to find the target buildings from a safe distance.
It's doable, but ideally the primary targets should have precise steerpoint coordinates to drop JDAMs on to make the most out of them.

Did VENOM 2-1 score a kill with every single munition his or her Viper carried? Because that is seriously impressive.
Almost. I had to jettison one of my two HARMs since there was more red stuff nearby and I just did not feel like I had a chance of firing it off at something.

DODGE 1
2x Super Étendard (AJS37)
1-1: radintorov
1-2: Xeno426

Loadout: 2x Exocet ASM (Rb-15F), 2x Matra Magic (AIM-9L), Centerline Fuel Tank

Dodge 1 plan is simple: Marshall at Wp2 (SAWU) with Judge 1 and Gary1, then proceed toward Wp3 (using it as a reference point for the general location of the enemy fleet) and wait until the enemy Type 54B has been located, set up for an attack with Exocet and descend at low altitude, try to coordinate the launch with Judge 1 and Gary 1 if possible to hopefully have the different ASMs reach the target at around the same time, break off and head back to base.
Possible threats include J-11s launching from the Malvinas islands and enemy corvettes escorting the DDG

Comms:
  • Dodge 1 128.5
  • ATC 260.0
  • Buzzard 262.0
  • Package TBD

Rattler 1 Briefing
Assets: 2x F-16A MLU, 2x more available but not tasked at time of briefing
Flight Frequency: 137.00MHz
ABM Frequency: 262.00MHz BUZZARD
Air Base: El Calafate
Loadout: 2x AIM-120C, 2x GBU-31, Wing Tanks, TGP

Briefing
Rattler 1 will take off from SAWC and proceed via SPOON to PLATE and hold position there until OLE is called. The objective is to strike at two CSS battalions in target area ARROW to deny enemy frontline units with the necessary logistical support to sustain their offensive. Primary objective will be bunkers used as equipment stockpiles which command guarantees can be destroyed with a single GBU-31; as such the second bomb each jet carries can be used on any available target of opportunity with command and control vehicles and concentrations of logistic vehicles being the ideal secondary targets.
Flight and Element Lead will be equipped with TGP and will provide coordinates for their wingman
Once weapons have been delivered, Rattler is to egress to PLATE and RTB at SAWC.
BOCA is provided as a reference IP located just North of the FLOT. Due to the presence of SA-11s in the AO, it is recommended to approach the targets from the water. Command recommends using the following ingress and egress routes

Additional Remarks
While we will be supported by SEAD, due to the lethality of the SA-11, if one such system is detected by the RWR it is imperative that pilots go evasive immediately and reset back to the holding point while calling ALPACA on the radio so that supporting SEAD can try and suppress the site/s. Due to limited combat-ready airframes and limited stores of US-made ammunition, survival of the airframes is paramount.
The SA-11 has a maximum range of approximately 18 nautical miles

Contingencies
If SA-11 is active in ARROW, Rattler will abort attack and egress back to holding point
Rio Gallegos is available as a divert field in case of combat damage or hot-pit refueling. Due to the regular rocket attacks, it is not to be used as a recovery airfield
Puerto Natales is available as a divert field to refuel from. Due to the limited space available it is not to be used as a recovery airfield
If Shell is airborne, it can be used for air-to-air refuelling
If GUINEA PIG is called, abort strike and switch to CONDOR on 261 for additional air-to-air tasking

Additional Notes
SAWG 69X
SCNT 26X
Shell 12X 240.00

Edit:
been informed JTAC will not actually be present. Briefing edited appropriately
