pork never goes bad posted:I think the risk of judging the lethality of this place based on what has happened with the clones is that you're not taking into account what made em. If any group going in has to contend with clones of themselves (so, a roughly even match, you have to deliberately use teamwork to beat them, but the clones can also do this) then any losses to traps or mimics hurt even more. Then you gotta deal with whatever monstrous thing can make a clone of Frieren with the same amount of mana and all. The Copies Teamwork is probably inferior to the real ones, as they can’t communicate and make plans outside of what they would silently do together.

Denken said it well, she intellectually understands it, but goes through her intuition instead, which is just not how normal minds work. As Sense said it’s basically a super power. Ubel also has her empathetic magic copying which is something that also doesn’t follow the normal way for mages.

Well they state you have to at least be 5th Class to be allowed to take the test. And how dangerous the test is depends on the proctor.

I don't think it's a spell, I think it's just a weird trait of Ubel.

I don't think its that she relied on it too much, its just she got tricked. It works 100% guaranteed as long as she has more mana than her opponent. And you can see mana. She could probably have used regular offensive magic or whatever if she wanted to but she preferred turning peoples friends into enemies and puppet mastering. Frieren herself said she probably could have won by just sicing her enter army on her.

Frieren for sure took the guaranteed win, but I don't think Aura could've won head to head either. Frieren's own words where that the undead army could have overwhelmed her with numbers.
