They weren't booing him for his comments, not deep down. In actuality, it's because Kyrou is viewed as a floater (and also hasn't produced this year in the way that 95% of hockey fans think of as production--points) and isn't willing to play hard-nosed, skate-in-straight-lines, insert_oldtime_hockey_cliche that St. Charles and South County Blues fans get raging hardons over.
