Polymorphicshade has all sorts of ambitions with the app and has renamed it Tubular. Javulticat has forked the project at that point for continuity. It is unclear if either will be updating with the familiar regularity. In any case a newer version is currently available.

LibreTube is a fair alternative if the Newpipe with Sponsorblock drama doesn't come to a satisfying conclusion.
