huh posted:I've never understood the saccharine ending to this show. The music, the hugging and celebrating each other's existence, the waving to the audience. It just seems so contrived. Also, I am Australian. Because it's a live show it's mostly just a runtime thing.

martin short is an incredible entertainer. as a master of ceremonies or as a guest on a talkshow, he's truly top tier. as a comedian exclusively he's just ok.
