chrome has repeatedly broken in ways that annoy me, and every time it does i try firefox, and then poo poo is just as annoying there ultimately i end up using chrome at work because i'm more familiar with the dev tools, and lol have fun snooping on me reading documentation pages and refreshing our stupid website over and over at home i use safari, which is a bad browser, but i don't care

DuckDuckGo and Brave are decent (DDG’s search engine can be kinda weird tho) and Firefox IMO is perfectly fine. Chrome pretty much sucks IME.

i mean, i use chrome at work and don't care, it takes the same (for now) stack of extensions as i use for firefox. there it's because our core browser support is chromium/webkit so it almost doesn't matter if it's chrome or edge

i can't imagine any other outcome than eventually switching to one of the smaller chromiums, i am kind of surprised that one hasn't become the yospos-approved alternative by now. im still on chredge waiting for that to settle. it keeps annoying me, but each time another checkbox away from not having to care. remains a very clear step up from chrome.

would be unsurprised if i wind up paying for my next browser. none particular in mind, but it is the way things are going (and its not a bad thing), email for a long time now, and e.g. kagi for search is at minimum very tempting.
