After an unskippable animation of the way in which you died from a view above your body, it slowly fades to black and goes to a menu. With Start new Life, Load Saved Life or Quit. If you start a new life you end up in a new body as soon as you gain sentience. If you load saved life you get to go back to any point in your previous life and continue living. If you quit whatever you were looking at previously freezes and it's dark and silent forever.
