I've been following the Yosmas threads for a few of the past iterations, and this time, I'd like to participate. Much like our courageous organizer, I'm buddhist, but still celebrate Christmas. Please, no alcohol or meat. I'm into cyberpunk/hacker culture and do enjoy coffee, but really, I want to give the Santa free rein. I like surprises! Oh yeah, and I don't have any pets or children. I'm in. In case someone didn't know, I'm a middle-aged fat guy (American XXXL t-shirt size). I live in Finland (which is in Europe!) so it would not be a good idea to send alcohol, drugs, plant matter or seeds, or anything that could be construed as a weapon. Or diamonds. Totally in this year. It seems like I'm Australian 3D Megadoodoo in that i am also a 3xl shirt guy with a large head, and you shouldn't send me booze, drugs or plant matter because straya. I have a little corgi who likes toys, and I love local food products and that sort of thing.

i've been using nearly the same post every year and every year it's awesome so I'm gonna keep it up hi im achmed jones, i touch computers and hearts. i like many things, including: * i enjoy the aesthetic and music surrounding future funk, vaporwave, and related genres. i have a cassette player in the garage that i use multiple times a week, and a record player in the living room that i mostly do not use (but i do buy a couple records a year when i want to support artists) * i play guitar (poorly) and make beeps and boops in ableton/with synths and such. it's a lot of fun. i've always wanted to build a guitar pedal or something of that nature * i like ham radio, especially building kits and such. i built my antenna tuner and a low-power digital transceiver. * i like looking at stars and planets with my telescope * spicy food and also non-spicy food (I’m always stoked to try whatever local foods, condiments, etc you might want to throw at me). i eat meat and have no dietary restrictions. * i'm cool with alcohol. i like beer and bourbon and scotch and red wine. * i go to the renaissance fairs every year, but don't do any of the camping stuff. but it's a lot of fun, and i always look forward to it. * i hope for a the future to be fully automated luxury gay space communism * I’m buddhist and reasonably serious about it; I probably have all the literature I’m after, but if you have a local monastery or nunnery that sells, uh stuff I guess, that’d be rad? * i like taking pictures, but i am not very good at it. my camera is a micro four thirds mount. * i enjoy being outside, hiking, all that sort of stuff. little jones will be 8 soon. he likes video games (especially animal crossing and kirby), playing music, and hiking/camping with me. we also build legos together. ms jones has general nerd interests (sci fi, fantasy, especially star trek) and loves classic rock and barbies. poodle jones is 3 years old; his hobbies include woofing at visitors and stealing whatever snacks he can get his filthy paws on. my shirt size is L Achmed Jones fucked around with this message at 01:05 on Nov 30, 2023 |
