I don't want to overload you with matches but if you want cool match compilation videos that sum up storylines in AEW, their YouTube channel has AEW Timelines for stuff like Orange Cassidy's International Championship run or the first Continental Classic round Robin tournament, both awesome. For individual matches, Bryan Danielson vs. MJF at Revolution 2023 is the match that made me finally stick around and fall back in love with wrestling full-time. Hangman Adam Page vs. Swerve Strickland at Full Gear is incredible, a brutal and bloody deathmatch that helped solidify Swerve as a future world champion. And while he's not with the company anymore for good reason, CM Punk vs. MJF in their dog collar match was a huge highlight of his run. It was one of the shows I bought and watched before I was a regular viewer and it electrified me. |
