:pwn: :pwn: :pwn: :pwn: :pwn:

Only two shows this month. The late start means that we will have a slightly-light first half of the season with 8 episodes rather than the usual 9 or 10. On the flip side, that means a beefier back half compared to the two weeks on, two weeks off we usually get in spring.

But tonight, the new Willy Wonka, Timothée Chalamet, returns for his second time, with sadbrains supergroup boygenius making their SNL debut, comprised of indie stars Julien Baker, Lucy Dacus, and Phoebe Bridgers (this being her second turn on the show after debuting in S46). Here are those big sexy promos you ordered

And if you like bloopers, here, have some outtakes

And of course, Wednesday read-through didn't happen unless there are photos.

Yeah, that's the stuff. We love the NBC Night Show. While Endless loving Football season drags on, my own Vintage tonight: Mark Harmon with Suzanne Vega, S12E18, May 9 1987. Here's what's uploaded to various Tubes.

Was "meh" on the new Chloe for the season so far (not that she had been given a lot of screentime), but the orphan sketch put a nice spotlight on her.

Eh, Chloe F. hasn't really wowed me as an impressionist; her Britney just feels like a generic "ditzy blonde", and I can't think of any other impressions she's done that have stood out.

And this dude is busy with the side projects this week. He hopped on TikTok and shot this announcing as much

https://twitter.com/doompatrol/status/1725246634160701636

And speaking of TikTok, here's one posted by SNL, in full HD without all the text and crap blocking the video (sorry it's on Twitter, but there's music and I'm not risking a strike on YT)

https://twitter.com/gecafe/status/1726009814562525271

I couldn't locate his announcement video on TikTok or I would have grabbed that original as well.

And hey! Here's this if you haven't had enough of this big beefy dude yet!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3gSoE1w8kiA

AND from last week, a tiny BtS for a Tiny Horse

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vk90bRMP0kQ

And my Vintage tonight, continuing from last week: Garry Shandling with Los Lobos from May 16 1987 (S12E19). Here is what's available on the Tubes

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DW187wH1Egs

Or just watch it on the Internet Archive, because the Department Store Sketch sketch is not on YT, and Los Lobos bangs.

Finally, as we approach Thanksgiving, enjoy this deep Cut-for-Time, from S38, starring Jeremy Renner.

will she someday follow it up with a worthy successor, or burn out with rehashes like Aristotle Athari's Angelo? stay tuned, true believers!!
