Yeah, but like an Anaconda only really eats someone like once a month, so if you see big birds belly is big, he's well feed, and your all safe to go up for a hug! Like most large animals with claws, if you're attacked by a cassowary lie down on your stomach and protect your face/neck you'll probably be fine. Maybe you'll get a few cool scars. But your best bet is to hit it with a high powered weapon, I recommend a 70 series Landcruiser.
