If you go below that, that's okay too, but don't try and rules-lawyer it with "oh that means I can spend 0", don't be a dick.Newbies are always welcome, if it's your first time, give me a shout for a ride on the wheel!  Okay now that's out of the way: What is the Gift Train, and how do I participate? It's a gift-chain! Everyone who signs up both gives and gets a gift, so it's basically a more convoluted way of buying games for yourself and of introducing your favourite game to others! Join by posting your Steam ID in thread, and then friend and gift to the person who signed up before you! Everyone gives a gift, everyone gets a gift! It's that simple! I'll close it all out at the end, and everyone has a good time!  You give a gift to the previous goon to sign up to the train, and you get one from the person below you! Easy! To join, post your steam ID URL, and if you want, your country, in thread. The country is because you can no longer gift to a region with a price differential of more than 10%. If you have problems, just send me a message (Discord: .koco , Steam), or post in thread and we'll get it sorted! Max spend this sale is going to be $10 / €9 / £7.80 If you run off without gifting, you will be permanently blacklisted. - It's a good idea to post your country along with your Steam ID. - Keep your wishlists up to date with affordable games! But you may get stuff not on your wishlist this sale, especially if everything on it is too expensive. - Please either update your signup-post, or put up a new post once you've given/revived your gifts, so we don't have to chase you down later. Chatting in thread is fine and fun, just make it clear if you're not jumping back on! - Communicate with the other person you're gifting to/from, make sure they want what you're giving them![/b] This is meant to be fun and a way of making new friends! If you have to go to other places to get gifts, as Steam won't let you send anything, make sure your giftee know this before you commit. Don't buy from shady crack sites, and the Steam value is generally what counts for price, but be sensible with it! Wishlists aren't public by default, check your privacy settings.

Not a ride, but maybe the maximum should be a little higher if we are going that route, Like somewhere between $10-15? It is a great idea to attract new blood to the thread to get more posters chaining smaller gifts, but it is actually way harder than one would think to add tasty little micro tidbits to a wishlist. I spent like a good hour+ last time going through random steam top lists in different categories hundreds of games deep looking for stuff cheaper than $5 to add, and found next to nothing. I suppose this is due to the fact that a lot of the better known games that are that cheap are older and thus people who tend to buy games on steam often have them all already. Honestly, I'd go for 15, as long as it's perfectly understood there is no shame in giving for less. 10 would at least bring up some of the older classics that are not necessarily indie titles, though.
