I don’t think Steelers are in the market for a long term solution right now, they probably just want someone who can provide some credible offense to complement their defense and slop out a few more wins.

Fields' variable high level play combined with good skill players and a dominant defense would be a pain in the rear end in Pittsburgh. I strongly prefer Pittsburgh keep with the last 4 years tradition of total dog poo poo at QB.

I mean Russ looked good enough to potentially be dangled as an upgrade to a team that wants to make the wild card. He's clearly on the better half of the broncos roster but also way out of their timeline. Thinking out loud: Steelers, Raiders, maybe Seahawks (lol), Vikes could bite.
