I like that Laios gets what's effectively a living, magical sword that warns him of danger, but it's properly justified in-universe (it's a cool mollusk he found)

I agree it felt weird last ep to introduce Itsuzumi and then immediately shift focus off of her but I'm also not sure where you'd move the chapter to and still have it make narrative sense without totally rewriting it.
