Every year around this time the newts that live in the lake down from my house travel up to my yard and driveway to do...uh...newt stuff I guess. ITT I will be posting a picture of and naming each newt (also some salamanders because they show up sometime too!) and letting you goons choose who is the cutest and most huggable little squishy buddy. Each day new newts will be posted but only one can be named NEWT(/salamander) OF THE DAY!! Each Monday until whatever they are doing stops we'll take the winners and they shall be enshrined in the NEWT HALL OF FAME (a collage I will put together when winners have been chosen) To start us off here are four contenders I found today: Scott  Scott enjoys long walks on the concrete, being really rubbery looking and having crazy eyes. Some say he's the cut-up of the group. Gruber  Gruber is a real wildcard. When he's not sitting under my truck in the driveway he's out on the beach boogie boarding or chilling out by the bonfire with his guitar Sparkle  Sparkle has a real in your face attitude as evidenced by actually being able to see her face. She holds her head up high no matter what the circumstances. #independentamphibian Alfonse  Alfonse loves fashion and design.
