I just remembered how whole thing started: I was talking with my brother in law, and he mentioned someone he worked with who was "like Joe Pesci from Casino was walking around wearing the skin of 'Robert Downey Jr as Tony Stark' to try and fool everyone." ... then neither of us could actually think of a movie character who fit that description :(

Kevin Spacey.

Not any particular character he plays, the actual Kevin Spacey.

Having never read the forum rules before, I sympathize but it's hilarious that ya'll had to codify that people shouldn't be posting that they jacked off to a movie they just watched. The poor soul(s?) who just needed to shout it from the mountain that they got off to the Dark Knight, RIP.

There was a thread for shameful movie confessions, which I think was supposed to be stuff like "I find Pulp Fiction boring"but people kept posting what they watched on HBO as a teenager late at night.

Danny McBride becoming one sort of guy when the first time I remember seeing him is in All The Real Girls (because Jody, Danny, and David Gordon Green I believe are all college friends, if not even older friends than that?) is very weird.

It’s sort of like watching Michael Shannon become known for INTENSE and HARD when you see him in The Woodsman and he is just playing the kindest, most patient therapist of all time in that.

Zoey Daschnel in All The Real Girls compared to Zoey Daschnel in The New Girl is also incredibly weird.

There's definitely some sexual violence in Warrior if you don't want to see that, just as a warning. Reacher has sex and has violence, but I don't think has any sexual violence.

I haven't seen the Mean Girls Musical film but it's really weird that Renee Rapp is being super pushed on us in promotions and I don't even know the name of the actress that has the Lindsey Lohan part. Making the main bully the main character seems like the opposite of what the original film was about. And also the original film was based on a nonfiction book trying to break down high school bullying among teenage girls.
