And all the soldiers/sailors/marines/etc in the audience were all like uuuhhh
a) we know what is in our paychecks, there is no evidence of any increase nor have we heard of any upcoming one
b) we have consistently gotten a cost-of-living pay increase every year
c) Trump fought against the proposed 2.8% pay increase and would not sign it unless it was reduced to 2.6%
