though tbh I can probably do without the mustard, it is overpowering a lot of the time especially if it's yellow mustard and considering there are a lot of preservative-based and vinegar ingredients already

The Cuban sandwich I had in Tampa was quite possibly the best sandwich I'd ever had; but, I'll certainly admit that pretty much every other Cuban sando I've had outside of places Cuban people can actually be found has been disappointing, at best.

I've worked in Florida a lot and would often go to Columbia for a Cuban on the way back to the Tampa airport. It's the only restaurant in that town I actually remember. This Cubano was really good The bad news is my lack of Spanish skillz means that instead of a pork mofongo side I got about five pounds of it. The good news is that it’s awesome and super garlicky, and on a bed of chicharrones
