Doesn't seem like you really need a two-minute warning as long as they're still stopping the clock to move chains on first downs for the last two minutes, but maybe the officials wanted a neat delineation for when they start doing that. But yeah, overall NFL football is a dreadful on field product and I'm largely against anything that attempts to bring college football in line with it, but also whatever. Just don't mess with the DPI rule. Honesly the ideal clock rule for college would be to reset everything to 5 years ago but shorten the quarters to 12 minutes. The clock adjustment last year was perfect as an official. Adding a literal break/stopage at the 2 min point is unnecessary in the college game. Stupid rear end NFL poo poo keep it away ugh.
