I knew as soon as that cheating scandal hit Michigan was going to win the natty. Maybe it’s vacated later, maybe not, damage is done. Congrats to Michigan. Signed, an Astros fan

That is two blue blood schools which are going to poach big names from other big schools. I've been told in Texas terms that Alabama is becoming a public version of SMU, in that a lot of wealthy kids are adding Bama to their fallback lists as it's becoming more prestigious.

I've been to a few UH-Rice games there and the place was so outdated it was basically a high school auditorium in a bad way. Like you could still make out the faded out words COLORED ONLY and WHITES ONLY on the restroom doors. I heard Tudor finally got renovated a few years back.

They still don't have to play a conference title game, and yes they'll have to play the first round but as the 5 seed they'll draw the 12 seed - which will usually be the G5 rep. dirty shrimp money fucked around with this message at 22:03 on Feb 21, 2024 |

That means UMass is leaving the A-10. Their alums are not going to like that. UMass is a basketball school, bad as it may be at the moment, and the MAC is a big step down in basketball. Might want to stay tuned to see if they actually go through with it. dirty shrimp money fucked around with this message at 23:39 on Feb 26, 2024 |

I don't understand the argument for getting Clemson into the SEC, but then here's Oklahoma. Maybe FSU and Clemson should join the Big 12? The Big 12 could really use a marquee name and there's no BC, Syracuse, or SMU to drag down strength of schedule.

It's better than being forced onto digital TV subchannels or something like Pluto TV. I mean they're going to float on the remains of the Pac 12 for a while anyway and the CW is at least a linear network that most if not all of the country receives.
