I don’t hate getting a QB coach who isn’t Urban Meyer’s son in law who has a brain for quick game stuff because we need an actual dedicated QB coach and a radically different quick game. Unless he's changed a lot he won't be helping from a recruiting standpoint. It's one of the things he seemed to hate about college football along with dealing with normal non-football related college stuff (boosters, fundraising, facilities, etc etc).

Fifty Three posted:State College isn't exactly Mexican food mecca but also, other cities... exist?? State College literally had no Mexican restaurants for like over a decade, and before that the only Mexican restaurant when I was a student was a Chi Chis (an old chain restaurant that apparently still has one location open in Vienna, Austria. Thanks wikipedia). There is currently one decent Mexican sitdown restaurant and a local chain of good quick service type places (I had some killer barbacoa at Lupitas). Generally not as good as what you find in the Southwest, but it beats driving to Altoona or settling for Taco Bell. e: Also the best Mexican I ever ate was in Phoenix, for what its worth. Shame I don't really understand most of the rules. I feel like I've missed out on being a fan for years because of just how insanely dominant Sanderson has been. I see a lot of kids trying out BJJ these days, most teens can apply a pretty decent rear naked choke just from watching ufc highlights. Considering most of the most effective poo poo in bjj is extremely similar to catch wrestling, I hope kids start taking an interest in it. I wish I had done it. Yeah this.

I really hate that scheduling, especially the bullshit FCS schools (RIP being able to poke fun at Alabama and Georgia) but Franklin has been very vocal about how having an easier OOC game is more of an advantage than having tough OOC games. Now with the 12 team playoff that way of thinking may end up being out-of-date, but a loss vs a tough OOC school hurt your chances way more than a cakewalk win over an FCS school, and beating that tougher OOC game only seemed to really act as a tiebreaker most of the time. I don't really have a problem with playing teams like Temple and/or Syracuse every once in a while because those are kind of regional/historical games, but I would love to see a WVU/Pitt type game most years. That WVU game last year was incredibly fun and it honestly seemed like the fans were much more into it than the Iowa whiteout. Also the tailgating was amazing because a ton of WVU fans showed up.

I hate that poo poo. It's not enough to pay shitloads of money for parking, tickets, and donating so that you can even buy tickets in the first place. It's not enough to spend a premium on shirts, hats, coffee mugs, cable, streaming packages, etc. It's not enough that the university, the college, and the alumni assocation constantly bug me for money. Now we, the fans, are expected to pay the wages of these college kids so that our team can become (or stay) competitive while the executives still rake in shitloads of money. I also hate that how competitive your school can be is basically limited to how many billionaires will help fund it. I am pro football players getting what they deserve but this current system sucks and the money is coming from the wrong direction (well, not crying for the billionaires I suppose). Also please get off of my lawn.
