I had this epiphany while eating a banana the other day. The flavor of bananas is just a stronger, more pungent vanilla flavor. Now I'm sure some gourmand or food scientist will come in here and tell me I'm wrong and that they're actually totally different but they'd be the wrong ones. My sophisticated smoker's palate can taste the similarities.  E: i mean look at these bastards. Tiny bananas. I'm no food scientist or "gourmand" - I'm just a regular pretentious guy that thinks what I eat makes me better than you but you're completely wrong about this. They're two very different flavours. I'd never confuse the two.
