On one hand it's cool to see WEC get a dedicated game, on the other hand it's from a lovely developer who's actively running out of money and lost their Indy at game license (a good thing imo) from not being able to meet contractual obligations. The game going from a December '24 to a Feb '24 and now a Feb early access release doesn't give me much confidence that it's going to be decent or feel like much more than dlc for rfactor2 which I'm pretty sure is what it's based on. Fingers crossed though.

Heads up that it looks like this is finally the year that IMSA uploads their races to YT in 1080p60. Daytona is up now. Years prior the uploads were all at 720p60p. Also, does announce else like putting these long races on as background noise while working?

the Garage 56 NASCAR onboard is the best thing to fall asleep to imo. Drag racing is a close 2nd but its easy to fall into "oh ill just see who wins this next race...oh one more cant hurt...well a guy i like is up next so i gotta stay for that one..." ad infinitum

I prefer the behind both cars shots instead of from the side for the live and then sides for the replays if its a corker of a run. Shoutout to the fox camera guys. They're wearing tons of armor because of all the debris that gets kicked onto them at the starting line. That's an absolute tire smoker of a run too. 303mph across the finish line is still bonkers to me.

If they shortened the gaping maw it’d probably look fine. There does seem to be less of a mix of different gt3 cars than there was pre Covid. Edit: I would build a model of the bmw if they produced one but I’m still waiting for the Porsche 991 GT3 that they announced in 2019 that has never appeared in production.
