If you feel the urge to dig digitally, check out this game dig and rig.
You're a robot who digs and manages resources, and the powers levels become absurd at the end.

Indeed, and I've put considerable thought into it.

But it's a big line to cross, to go from shovel and pickaxe to dynamite.

I've been testing out the Roman method of jamming wood into cracks and then soaking it with water, so it freezes and expands overnight, shattering the rock.

I vaguely remember reading somewhere that the super rich that own most of the houses in the poshest parts of London have started doing crazy below-ground extensions on their homes. To the point that people who hadn't started doing it felt they had to get into it just to "stake a claim" below their house before a hypothetical neighbor got there. You know, for the one week of the year that they're actually living in the house and need to impress their guests.

They're called "iceberg houses" .

What I really want to see is HO scale hobby tunneling. An adorably tiny TBM grinding away and a little railroad moving in precast liner segments. Then you can have a tiny diorama of the Moscow Metro at the end.

I will not shut up about the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. I talk about them all the time and work them into every conversation I have. I built a shrine in my room for the yellow one who died because sadly no one noticed because she died around 9/11. Wanna see it?
