Welp, here goes..

So I started making videos with the idea of embellishing and capturing the ever-present beauty and terror of the zone while telling a more intimate soldier story.

My intention is to believable, convincing, more realistic in my movements and reactions to the gameplay

I've had a lot of really intense, interesting and memorable moments while playing a wide variety of games, but Stalker: Anomaly Gamma just hits different. I came up with the formula where if I slow down my pace and "act" in stalker, my missions get way more interesting and rewarding. In addition, I found that if you add a dash of personality, cinematography, music and hardcore tactics in certain ways; You can make some very satisfying scenarios.

So I got openshot video editor and started learning things. I started recording playthroughs in OBS with the original intention of making a mostly uncut, interesting, consistent story that showcases the gripping brutality that Stalker is known for. I'm still navigating Copyright free music to use and making sure I'm being as original and creative as I can, for my personal satisfaction as well as for anyone else who enjoys role playing sandbox environments.

I love Andrei Tarkovsky's style and I am attempting to use it (as an amateur) to bring the zone to life in a cinematic, more personal experience.

A brief rundown on Andrei Tarkovsky from the wiki: Why yes, he did pass away in the same year Chornobyl had its little boo boo.

quote:

Andrei Arsenyevich Tarkovsky (4 April 1932 – 29 December 1986) was a Russian film director and screenwriter.[2] Widely considered one of the greatest and most influential directors in cinema history, Tarkovsky's films explore spiritual and metaphysical themes, and are noted for their slow pacing and long takes, dreamlike visual imagery, and preoccupation with nature and memory.

Oh and I dont talk, i keep narroration to visual queues, written anecdotes, introductions and outros! The zone's atmosphere is a better talker than my stupid mouth ever will be. :doit:
Anyways, blah blah blah. So heres the goods... I have a few episodes so far and I'm able to to farm enough content and sarcasm to keep this series going.

Enjoy!

I intend to build up the OP to be more complete if this goes anywhere.
