The Florist was a relic of the first Yakuza game being, at the time, a stand-alone experience, his precense in future games just got more and stretched until he was erased entirely. Can't say I miss the guy and his massive underground spying network.

One of the benefits of eventually (lol) doing all the side quests is you get to meet a guy called rear end Catchem. Hopefully that's incentive enough.
