Missed all but OT.

Was there any gently caress-up, or just two strong teams trading scores?

That game-winning route was that same jet motion the Eagles bit on twice in last year's SB so I felt that

Hey guys I haven't been watching for a long time now and I thought I might get back into it. Did I miss anything big in the past like six or seven years?

This didn’t end up mattering but I am curious: if the clock had run out in OT would the Chiefs have lost or would they get to finish their possession in a second OT period?

It was a defensive battle. SF didn’t get their second first down in the second half until mid fourth quarter iirc.

Would have went to second OT and they would have flipped end zones just like going from first to second quarter.

1st quarter of OT is like 1st quarter of a regular game when it's playoff overtime.

Switch ends, continue 2nd OT.

Yeah, I saw the box score.

Sucks CMC and others fell short. At least it wasn't a blowout or 28-3 outcome, although getting this close obv hurts more right for them & fans.

Bad, very bad!
I do not know why the Ravens and 49ers both didn't just run the ball down the Chiefs throats all day. For the Ravens I guess maybe it was planned to be Lamar's coming out party or something, but Brock Purdy doesn't need to prove anything past being the first Mr Irrelevant to start a Super Bowl at QB. If there's a time to burn CMC to the ground it's now.

But I appreciate both of their gameplans as a Chiefs fan.

Goddamn it was so long with several pretty damned good teams in there that the Chiefs could never win a playoff game and now they somehow can't lose them.

Definitely a slow burn but with good twists and turns. Seemed like it was hell for a fan of either side.

Shanahan ditching the run in the 3rd quarter killed the Niners. it's ironic he's lost two SBs against Reid because he has a lot of parallels to early career Andy
