Back in the day if you named files on your webpage COM1 or LPT1 Internet Explorer would actually write to those devices when writing them to cache. So you could print things or send a +++ATH to their modem. It took seemingly forever for Microsoft to fix this too.

4dos will let you write way more complex batch files. If you've already gotten rid of your desktop background you can save additional ram by uninstalling fonts. In the IBM Classroom LAN administration system you can select any option on the student menu hit ^C and then use the NetWare SEND to harass your friends. you can make a true-color gif by having each pixel use its own palette, and the GIF-89 standard doesn't require you to clear pixels after you draw them i forget which goon had an avatar that did that and subsequently taught me their secret but it's stuck with me in case i need a gif with more than 256 colors, thanks goon
