According to what Johnston mentioned on the Discord this is VERY early in planning and he's apparently rewriting the whole thing in Godot so this might take a while. Also, apparently the re-release will add some new things to keep it fresh for fans of the itch.io . It's very much worth playing. Johnston also turned off donations for the itch.io version in anticipation of the re-release.
