oh my god lol sting was asked why does he think his career went one way and ultimate warrior went the other way. He said he's glad they split up because they would have killed each other on the road. Just two roided out young men. And then he was like I stopped in 90 he obviously didnt.

https://twitter.com/SeanRossSapp/status/1764538110510076373 dorks are going to be so mad but if you look at Sting's career you have this match, the Flair draw and WarGames 92. I mean what else is there? I guess his weekly matches with Flair which were all the same and always incredible.

Fentry posted:While it totally ruled and was the right decision I'm still shocked that Sting won, I thought losing your retirement match was basically a law in wrestling. Are there any other big wrestlers who actually won a big announced retirement match? (Not including like that Flair farce a little while ago or Terry Funk retiring 50 times) Undertaker. He literally buried AJ Styles in the process.

That was an awesome show and I am glad I could be there in person, even in the nosebleeds and with the most annoying man in the world sitting di-wrecked-ly behind me and just spewing absolute horseshit takes for all five hours I wish Darby hadn't done that glass spot.

Ghost Dog posted:give us the takes. i want to know the takes I never heard him say "Cornette" all night but that was the vibe I was getting. He exclusively cheered heels. Every other word out of his mouth was a swear word. But worst of all was "There is not one redeeming thing about Eddie Kingston." I was glad when Eddie won not just because I - a man of taste and distinction - was pulling for the King of the Bums, but because it actually shut him up for a few minutes.

I am happy they didn't use Deonna/Toni as a break match bewteen Takeshita/Ospreay and the World Title Match. That would be have been cruel.
