Does Russ generate enough interest for a bidding war? Besides the Steelers and Falcons, maybe the Panthers (who have publicly said they don't want him lol), there's no one who pay starter money for him.

What's the $ threshold for picks to be awarded to teams losing their FAs? I know it changes every year.

Sam Howell definitely seems like QB2. He's not better than Geno, but considering Geno missed a couple of games last season, you could do a lot worse than Sam Howell as your backup.

Seattle should still be looking at a QB of the future, but the way they've been signing players this season signals a rebuild / reload.

edit: Howell is only 23 lmao, jesus

I hate the reminder of how brutal football is that it's not uncommon to see guys at the top of their game up and retire at the end of the season.

But on the other hand, this means we don't have to play Aaron Donald twice a year, so :thunk:

Gonna love it if the Steelers swap out Fields last series of the year to ensure he doesn't get 51% of the snaps lol

What exactly is wrong with Chase Young? He had mega hype coming out of OSU along with the Bosa's and he just seems like he's walking the line on being a JAG already.

Quarterbacks have to deal with insane highs and lows. Even if a WR makes a critical drop, the stat still focuses on the QB as an incomplete pass (dropped passes aren't really mainstream enough yet and the criticism usually stays local *cough* philly and Nelson Agholor *cough*). So a successful QB usually ends up being these weirdo broken dorks that can tune out the lows unlike that of a WR. Russ, Cousins, Eli, Rodgers, Mahomes are perfect examples.
